Does anybody want to know how to destroy the French Defense?

There is no way to "destroy" the French Defence. It's a perfectly good opening, although I personally wouldn't use it.

You're not saying the thread title might have been clickbait? I refuse to believe it
Probably is! It's about as stupid as, if not stupider than, when KassySC and I were at the 2009 World Open, and we are in the book store, and this tall, roughly 30 year old black man comes to us and is like - "I want something that Refutes the Queen's Gambit" - Uhm, it wouldn't be one of the most popular openings if Black could refute it! - and then he follows it up with "I want something S-s-s-s-s-soli-i-i-i-i-d".
KassySC and I go to about 2 to 3 tournaments a year together, and at least once every year, mockery of "S-s-s-s-s-s-soli-i-i-i-i-d" comes up! LOL!

The French Defense can be easily defeated by analyzing the tactical and attacking sequence of Waterloo.

The Tarrasch is amazing!
There is a variation of the French: Advanced Variation I like too, called the Paulsen Attack. White can get a good attack on black's king side.

Brainfish see that 3. ...Nf6 is sub-optimal move. (3rd choice)
Brainfish will play. 3. ....c5!! What you gonna do?

The final position at the end of brainfish database library from above position ended as dead draw at depth 64!..
The optimal moves of brainfish vs brainfish.

after 3....c5! Brainfish see that the position is 0.01 for white at depth 53. lol.
Ok, but can you play that engine line, unassisted, to 53 plies?

You can memorize/analyse/study to depth 3, depth 12 or further depending on your interest and play level. But dont study suboptimal/weak lines.

Brainfish will play.4......Qxd5!
(just FYI, cerebellum + stockfish combo= brainfish is the best chess library(database ) plus strongest engine combo, it will extremely unlikely to see bad moves.
(I guess winning chance is <5% even vs perfect opponent)

Personally, I would prefer Judy.
Judge Judy should put an end to this debate...
