Let's just say I'm on a huge win streak, playing against a bunch of brain-dead fish that can't figure out the idea of castling or stalemate, and then the next 20 matches you're playing against Anish Giri, Ding Liren, Alireza firouzja, Garry Kasparov, Hikaru Nakamura, Magnus Carlsen, and Vishy Anand playing as a team manipulating their rating points just to bully you for trying to be good at chess. Why am I being punished for being decent at chess?

You get paired with players within your rating range that have compatible seeks. Streaks have no bearing in the process
