As far as I can see this question has been settled.
Nothing else to see here.
Only way to have such a rule is to be associated with another organization that has the rule and verified.
I think the US Chess group allows one unchecked sex transition, but after that requires legal documentation. So no nonbinary types.

So if someone has a legally recognised non-binary sex, what happens?
Can you provide a link to this policy you're making statements about, please?

Thank you.
@Deadmanparty - as far as I can see that policy makes no mention of non-binary identities, and as written would have no issue with someone becoming legally non-binary.
Can you please clarify either where I have misread that policy document, or else retract a false statement about US chess?
How many threads do we need on this?
This is the only thread on this very specific topic. Please don't try and start needless transphobic exchanges. This was an information seeking and information clarification request, not a debate starter.
After one sex identity change a doctor must check the sex organ to determine the sex legally.
So?
If I am legally non-binary I can register that gender/sex change with the US chess club and that's that. How are NBi people barred?
Don't worry. I will contact them directly myself for clarification.
Does chess.com have a womens' section? If not what's the point of these threads?
The reason for this threads existence is clearly stated in the OP. No need for you to have made this comment. Please refrain from trying to start drama here.
So as long as you keep getting operations, then fine
If you want to change sex designation more than once, inspection of sex organ required and you will be told what sex you are.

As I already pointed out they don't recognise anything about the id's because they have no way to check. The answer is "no" before you start. The thread, clearly articulated or not, is a waste of space,

Irrelevant. That doesn't preclude NBi identities or have different rules for NBis than for peolle who transition to man/woman.
I will contact them directly. No need to discuss this further here.
Just following their rules. Your opinion is irrelevant.
I believe youve misread and misunderstood their rules. I will clarify from them directly.
It would be chess.com being complicit with FIDE's rules.
