Does chess make you hate checkers. and also, do you like cheese?
No one here plays close to perfect checkers. It took computers to solve it. I prefer chess because I'm invested in it and way better than others compared to my standing with checkers.
But, I do think checkers is boring by comparison. Way less positional nuance, and way more need to see far ahead.
If I want to seem smart to other people, maybe I should learn some of each instead of going so deep into chess.

i like a McChicken Plain with cheese and as for checkers nope it doesn't make me the hate the game but rather makes me interested in improving at it since i am so bad. i am surprised some people think chess players are generally good at draughts but we actually aren't and kinda suck at it unless some of us like Ivanchuk play and get master titles OTB which is super cool lol
i think its also pretty cool learning about the matches and looking at channels like checkercycle while also admiring people like Draughts World champion, arguably the #1 checkers player in existence Marion Tinsley. he beat the computers and basically was the fischer of draughts in his era outplaying everybody and proving to everyone that he was the best but sadly he died :/
RIP Marion Tinsley (Draughts World Champion and Arguably the best who ever lived) 1927-1995
Cheese is life, also chess is also life.
