Tiers are a thing for the puzzles on the Android app.
Does puzzle tier affect difficulty or is it only rating?

I'm down almost 500 puzzle rating and the puzzles haven't gotten any easier with the rating drop, is it due to the tier?
Should I switch to classic puzzle mode instead?
