WEll,I did eat breakfast and lunch...
DOES THE FOOD WE EAT EFFECTS THE RATE OF WINNIG IN CHESS?

I once ate Chinese food during a tournament and I was so mentally scrambled by MSG that I resigned when I thought I was dropping a piece when there was no threat at all.

A few experiment's on chess player's and zeroed in at the conclution that player's eating horse meat reported improved movement of the knight on the board....does that help?

Obviously! Also I can recommend elephant 's meat, because in Russia the bishop is called "elephant" ("slon").

You are what you eat. If you are a greasy hamburger, you are going to play sloppy chess.
So, are you suggesting eating titled players would be better for chess improvement?
Yes. According to Native American culture, there is an evil spirit, the Wendigo, that once possessing someone drives them to crave human flesh, forcing them to cannibalism. The Wendigo does not give, it only takes from others. In this case, the Wendigo takes rating points apparently. If you can eat Magnus Carlsen or the other top 10 players, you're set!

@FearIncarnate:
Sorry to nitpick, but what do you mean, "Native American culture"? There are currently 562 recognized American Indian tribes, and surely there were more at one time. These span from the westernmost tip of Alaska to the southern tip of Florida, and for the most part these tribes historically did NOT get along with each other. Cultural overlap is certainly minimal.
The Wendingo is a creature specifically from Algonquian lore. The Algonqian people are made up of a couple dozen tribes concentrated in the northeast, many with their own unique spin on (and pronunciation of) Wendingo.
The Wendingo is about as alien to a Cherokee, Inuit, Comanche, Seminole, Peueblo, or Apache as it is to a Frenchman.

I've noticed that I play worse when I'm hungry, but I haven't noticed any difference based on what I eat. I wouldn't be surprised if there is one, but I would be surprised if it was a big difference.

As much as I appreciate the clarification, my comment was not incorrect and was meant solely for comedy. I appreciate that you took my comment seriously, however it was not meant to be.

The Greek Spartons were very good at war. A chess game could be conpared to a battle or war. They used to drink stong wine mixed with boars (pigs) blood. Not my cup of tea. I'll stick to my GOOD Canadian 12 year old Gibson's Whiskey! One is good, two won't do as mentioned earlier. I like steak on a bun with lots of fried onions & brown sauce on top beside a Greek side salad with lots of black olives & parmesan cheese. A " QUESTION " to all you chess buffs....Whats your favorite poison or// food for thought??? CHESS RULES !!!
Today i ate nothing and won againts my worst enemy :D
