Does this suggest cheating?

I played an opponent in Live chess today who played really unnatural moves with suspiciously remarkable accuracy. I went ahead and looked at his recent games, and this guy has scored 99% accuracy and above on every single game he has played today. Unless this ~850 level became a GM overnight, he's definitley cheating right?

I want my rating points back, and a little of my pride too!

I realize the cliche "I lost so he must be cheating" but that's not the case here, I lose all the time fair and square. This just seemed very fishy to me.

That’s definitely fishy. An 850 player can score 99% occasionally, but it’s rare. The odds of stringing even two together are astronomically small.

I had someone accuse me of this recently but maybe your moves are too predictable.. a lot of players at the same level play the same moves all the time...
