Don't waste your money

I agree with the OP. You are basically paying for garbage here, while other sites have similar services for free.

I doubt 95% are cheating. If they're cheating here, they are surely cheating elsewhere. There are some games I've played where I'm surprised how well a so-so rated player played, but I'm sure I've surprised some opponents as well, and I don't cheat because I want to play MY game, not falsely make the moves for an engine in my name.
I've also won and lost games - even daily games - due to blunders. Chess engine users don't do that.
I've seen some players with records 21 wins and 4 losses and 0 draws, but notice their avg. daily opponent had low ratings. Otherwise, few opponent's have won 60% of their games - counting draws as half a win.
So I don't see rampant cheating.

I'd assume 95% is a bit of an overestimation. I rarely come into contact with cheaters, and I'm at a higher rating than you. If you really are into chess it might be worth your money, I just know I'm too cheap to pay for a membership

The OP's record is 782 W, 788 L and 45 D (49.8%). If 95% of his opponents cheated, evidently many of them weren't very good at it.

I didn't waste any money.
How do you afford a premium membership from India?
Interesting that you insult his country while you hide yours.

India is a country with over half of the population living in poverty, that is hundreds of millions of people.

Funny how you think those in extreme poverty have access to the internet. Like any country there are people who can afford a diamond membership, and its ignorant to think there isn't an Indian who can afford one.

India should first concentrate on fighting poverty, corruption, and improving infrastructure, providing basic needs to citizens, and human rights. Instead of space exploration, advanced research, and outsourcing all their talented workers to other countries! another thing, maybe you know everything in tech support but if you can't communicate English then it is useless. again - quality over quantity. A talk about bad priorities...
The government's trying to do that. But it's really difficult when you have over 1 billion people in a country that's only seventh in terms of area.

And, I'm sure poverty's prevalent in all the rural parts. But 99% of the people I have seen and met, have sufficient resources to live a good life.
Hope we didn't break any TOS policies with these talks.

Don't waste your money on this site. They Encourage a culture of cheating were over 95% of players are using cheats. As once a paid member this site has gone to trash. Their policy says the don't encourage cheating but then again they can't control it and very little to do so. It's a disease and its spreading like wildfire. There is nothing chess.com can do to BAN cheaters but they will gladly take your money. Once again. Do not waste your money upgrading your membership to this site. If paid members take a stance maybe for once they will do something about all the rampant cheaters.
