probably been said, but those people that play blitz chess between matches and dont reset their clocks afterwards....
don't be that guy at at a tournament that always find excuses to play a game later. mixes up the tournament if the next round depends on the game to be play.
e.g. a person joined a tournament but his favourite sport team was playing on the same day as the tournament so he called he couldn't make it so he arranged to play a game later with the person he had to meet. The TD did always have to postpone scheduling next round.
the only round that cannot be postponed is the last round. so he played the game before the last day.
Don't be that guy that clearly states before the game that I stood no chance of winning and the best I could get was a draw, since he could not lose a 90 +30sec as white apparently.
Then give away bishop pair for no reason, drop a pawn to a tiny tactic and enter ragemode, attacking my king. Saccing a rook (with absolutely NO compensation) in anger and lose horribly at the 26th move.
He was rated 1473 and I was unrated at the time only given a starting rating of 1350.
He also smelled bad.

I got two sentences out of him. Through telepathy however I did enjoy our conversation... And then the following week the rest of us patzers got to review the games. It was 10$ per person winner keeps half, other half goes to the club. 50 bucks for 4 1/2 hours, ok I can see it.

I played a guy at a tournament who thought for over an hour and a half within the first ten moves, then he lost. You don't want to be that guy.

Take your Grandma id and disguise yourself as her to enter a tournament only for Senior Citizens. Then win it and say Mamma needs a new pair of shoes.
So far the guy who hid in the plant and jumped on the player who beat him is the leading guy "not to be" . . .

Don't be that guy that actually premoves I won my first OTB game like that, he premoved taking my knight and all I did was ignore the other threats and protect when he took it... He had to coz he premixed it i simply took his queen :)
