@kaynight, I don't spend all my day playing it, i study it, then at the end of the day i play games to test what i LEARNED that day.. because if i don't learn anything what's the point of it...
about the academic subjects, we have holidays right now. that's why i spend 10 hours, i usually spend much less time when i have exams.

You would think that a smart person would figure out that if something is not working , you need to change it . One of your mistakes is that you equate chess=smart and attatch your ego to that so every loss hurts it , you need to accept its part of the game . Mistake 2 is you play tons of blitz where you perfect your bad habits . Doing tactics is helpful but not too much , your not going to remember 100% of the patterns you see a day . "designing strategic ideas"? if your complaining you cant improve why are you trying to reinvent the wheel ? I don't think carlsen created new strategic ideas in chess , but he is the world champion.. Don't be hard on yourself and enjoy it because thats the best way to learn .

@Equiv, Ok i see where you're getting..., but look i'm different i don't really play alot of blitz, i just study the game everyday, then i test myself at the end with a game or two.
Don't study chess too much , you will not be able to be implement all the knowledge , less is more too much will confuse you . Some people benefit from lots of study and some from playing alot , you need to play and analyze your losses and look for patterns of why you lose(Long games , or at least 30m per side) . Play more long games and limit your tactics to 30m a day and not more than 30 puzzles . When studying take one book at a time ,take notes and really try to implement what you learn into the longer games and limit your study time . Also look at all the checks and threats before you make a move , every move .

You can also play chess in prison if things don't quite work out as planned.
You are missing in strategy....your pieces are all over the place, ultimately they all get scrambled and tada....u are crushed by your opponent even if he is playing in his sleep...

You say you study and practice chess alot yet from your first three moves I was able to see you lack some of the basic knowledge. You should study some chess openers you can use in your games, read into controlling the center of the board and some basic manoeuvres. There were also times during that chess game you didnt notice very obvious things for example at move 16 black moves his knight into a position where he could have taken your queen, (which he didnt luckily) it was only at move 19 you moved your queen to safety. Just be alert and know things like material value etc
Hello my friends. i am a young chess hobbyist, i'm 17 years old and i got in the game 3 years ago, i have been playing the game alot, and i got addicted to the beauty of it.
but now i'm here to tell you one thing.
i tried my best to improve on this game, i wake up every morning, i go straight off to my computer, turn it on, and open up chess.com and i do my 5 daily chess puzzles here. then i continue on chesstemp, i do like 100 tactics a day, and i spend the whole day doing CHESS related stuff.
i spend like 10 hours a day in chess NON-STOP trying and trying to improve. but at the end when i play the game, i end up making STUPID F***ING blunders. and when i make these mistakes i keep hitting myself hard in the head saying "ARE YOU REALLY DOING THIS?", i mean... AFTER ALL THIS TIME I WASTED....
oh yeah, everyday i do the same thing, i stress myself everyday, i get really angry, i'm grewing white hair, and i'm losing my mind... I don't know what is the problem... i do well in puzzling things, my friends always say i'm smart..., i do well in mathematics,physics, everything related to science and logical thinking..., And now what.., can somebody please tell me what's wrong with me?, Hell i even designed countless strategic ideas... that i plan to use in my games..., if you don't know what i mean, take a look at my BLITZ games...
this is just an advice to anybody who is having the same problem, let me tell you something, please quit, give up... don't stress yourself, this is not worth it.

In this GAME, i swear to god i lost it... I completly lost it
I mean what the f*ck ?? is this even a chess game?? what the hell, i was playing that game like i'm sleeping or something.... its like my subconscions is taking over the game.. i'm like wtf i'm doing?, and look at my opponent, his moves...., is he drunk or what?
i'm just saying, I COMPLETELY LOST IT WHEN PLAYED THE LAST MOVE.
it's like my brain is locked or something, i kept thinking Kf1 or Kh3, i quickly played Kf1 because i thought he would take the h8 rook and after all i would end up mating him.
