Obv I'm kidding, If this is a cheating discussion then probably the best place to take it is here http://www.chess.com/groups/home/cheating-forum Chess.com are trying to rid the forums of cheating topics.

Yep, mandatory urine test upon exceeding 2000 points and random tests at least once annually thereafter.
you are kidding me
But, seriously: I don't mind playing a computer, but, please tell me before the game starts.

Ik denk dat you touch on one of the great philosophical questions...when does the end jusify the means? Does ww2 justify hiroshima. Does creativity justify alcohol and drugs. Does national security justify espionage? Assassination? Does relief from poverty justify crime? Most importantly, does winning at correspondence chess justify the parallel use of a computer?!
For me, the 'end' is to play well, through pre-accumulated knowledge and intellectual endeavour. I even feel that it is somehow 'impure' to use the analysis board...yet I do, and have avoided even more blunders through its use. For others, it may be to win at all costs.
Lets look on the bright side...if we lose games to computer-aided opponents, perhaps both sides can consider themselves winners!

Yes, as has been stated, please leave cheating discussion for this group: http://www.chess.com/groups/home/cheating-forum .
Thanks.
As in the "real world" I would call for a dope-control (engine-abuse) for players rated above 2000, starting with the top 100-players..... I played some suspisious games lately....(I'm not paranoid
). What's your opinion?
