If you get a three-fold repetition, make sure you hit the draw button at that point. Chess.com does not give automatic draws for that particular drawing method;)
You must claim a draw by threefold repetition, not wait for it automatically to appear. This is true of all forms of chess; not just chess.com.

Claim it as you would have to over the board.
Out of interest, how many know how to do this over the board? It is something I have had to teach many times.
If you are going for the threefold repetition, you cannot simply make the move and claim it. When you know that you are about to make a move that will be a threefold repetition, you have to write it down first, stop the clock and summon the arbiter. You explain to him what you are about to do and then he will ask you to make the move.
An odd rule but one worth knowing.
I just played a game where the same position occured more than three times. Why was it no automatic draw?
