Drawing is now cool

Is it just me, or is playing for a draw now in style?

I'm finding people going draws in my games, trying to repeat moves, or offering draws when they should resign.  So far, no one has offered me a draw when they were winning though...

I don't know.  Maybe I should stop playing the queen's gambit...

If you're behind, why not offer draw? If you're behind, why not try and catch a 3 fold or perpetual?

I may offer a draw when I am slightly behind but when I am the rating favorite. If I am losing I am not going to offer draws. Either I resign or play on until the position becomes trivial and then resign.

I haven't seen any surge in increased draw offers by opponents so I can't comment whether there is a trend.
