Does your country have the NM title ?  NM is not a fide title so if your country doesnt offer it then you would have to get it in another country .

Wow i remember when i was ~15. I had some experience with chess from yahoo online chess and wanted so much to show my "skills" in school and beat everyone. Sadly we did not had chess in my school or any other school or even tournaments or clubs. Only few veterans here and there on parks but they are all gone now.

So if you can join chess club in schools do it! Play more - as much as you can. Watch videos online on YT. Then join OTB tournaments. In your area there might be zonals where sub 2000 rated players can earn titles like CM and FM.

just borrowed "My System" from a friend. I know what I will be doing my Memorial Weekend and Summer :). I'll try to take this book nice and slow, since its my first chess book.
