Early Queen

I was always taught...well never taught actually, but watched the movie 'Searching for Bobbie Fischer' enough times to know not to bring your queen out early. The only lesson this really taught me through a little practice was....ATTACK!  Chase that queen and get your cats on the board while she dives if you can!  Granted, I've been dogged by those who attack early with the queen.  So if you do, don't let her be chased!  At least, this game made me think this logic was good.  If I posted what the dang 7 year old 'chessmaster 7000' kid did to me, or if I could, I'd be saying....ATTACK with The Queen!  Just don't let her get chased!  If you bring her out early, take her back!  That's about the only discipline I know.  Fortunatly discipline once in my life worked here...

A complete waste of time when you throw it out there early without reason a disciplined opponent is just going to settle back and rapidly bring out his or her pieces on the proper squares then come after you he or she isn't going to play tag or mess around he or she will take away space squares and squeeze the life out of your position take away your air until you choke :(

You can look inside my blog to see if I'm telling you the truth I have destroyed many Chess Players who have ignored Chess Principles and threw their Queen out early.

It's not necessarily all about attacking the queen if she's brought out too early. Just develop your own pieces naturally, and if you happen to spot a way to attack the queen while doing so, go for it, as it forces your opponent to move the queen. After a few moves, you'll have all your pieces ready to attack, and he'll just have his queen and maybe a knight or something developed. For an example of this, check out my currently ongoing game against Nico_chaos on this site.

And then, right after I posted to this thread, this happened in a game I'm playing (opponent's name withheld to avoid embarrassing him):

I had actually put out the game seek with a minimum rating of 1500 because I'm looking for tougher opponents, now that I've won a few games and my rating is nearly 1600 here. Somehow, this guy got above 1500 by beating up on people with ratings below 1200, but dropped to around 1350 right after this game started. From now on, I'm only looking for opponents over 1600. I don't come to play games here to beat up on beginners this way. I really am looking for tougher games.
