elo estimate is a scam??

I'd also like to add, i have the same issue when accuracy. I've had some games that i played at 95+ accuracy. However, the elo estimate still thinks i'm around my rating. But when GM's play at 95+ accuracy, the elo estimate thinks they played like 2900+ elo. Someone please help me understand

ok. Thank's for clarifying

my idea is that, chess.com takes into account that a 500 player would not know/calculate the same theory as a 2700, so if both players played the same move, chess.com will assume the 2700 put more knowledge into that move

Accuracy is influenced by rating. So, a game at your rating played but a lot higher rated player, isn't going to have the same accuracy. Basically, the algorithm is more forgiving at lower rating levels

Also, the estimated rating is just that, an estimate and is based on the player ratings and their accuracy to derive a value.
What is did was I got the pgn of a game played between magnus carlsen and another opponent. The Game review said that magnus had an elo estimate of around 3100 and the other opponent at around 2900. However, I copied that pgn, and pasted it into one of my own games i played and before I game reviewed it, i changed the name of players to something else. I also changed the elo the around 800. So, after all this, i clicked game review and when i reviewed this game played by two GM's it said their elo estimate was 1200 and 900. This is really weird.
