Exactly. I had the same experience twice in one game, and the infuriating thing was that I had managed to break even after the first slip-up,but then after the second one.....bah.Trouble is this type of computer is the only one I`ve got to play on.
Embarrassing wrong moves

I only play on the buildin touchpad.
There are 2 tactics you can use to prevent this.
1) click on the field and do not drag the piece, but click on the field you're going to.
2) if you can see your touchpad is going to screw up, make an illegal move. Put the piece of one of your own pieces and the move will be undone.
oh my god i just have to let everyone see this, LET THIS BE A LESSON NEVER EVER play chess on one of those built in laptop mouses, the ones you use your finger to move the cursor, sooner or later it will screw you up. me About to take the pawn with my queen on move 7 but too sensitive laptop mouse says
Sensitive laptop mouse - "NOPE LET ME UNCLICK NOW WHILE YOU ARE ABOUT TO MOVE YOUR QUEEN...Unclick*
Me - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, rage quit
I know i didnt have to resign but i wass too pissed haha. those laptop mouse's are way too sensitive -_-
