Endless Suffering, HELP!!

Hello guys, I love chess so much, this game is my life literally, but i have a big problem and I need your help please. When I win I feel happy for a moment , I just move to the next game. But when I lose I feel so angry, I want to throw my phone or break my laptop, I feel that my opponent is laughing at me right now and thinking that he was playing the dumbest creature on the planet. When I look to the many consecutive red signs (which mean loss) in my log I feel shame. I closed my account several times and created new one afterwards, I am writing this from my new account after I closed 5 before. Is that normal? Where is the problem? What can I do? Please help and don't make fun of me.

One thing you should know is that in chess, you can't always win, sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.

The opponent that you feel are laughing at you, take a look at their log and you will see they also have reds too. Just stop beating yourself up, when you lose, go through the games and learn from your mistakes.

Your opponents are most likely not thinking you are dumb or something as some of them move quickly to another game or just go about their normal business.

You have to be calm about losing, is a part of the game. And after many loses you will learn from your mistakes and get better. But when you increase your rating, you will get better players and again you will lose. It's natural. The point of the game is not to win only. An it applies not only to you but all of us. Just embrace it, and enjoy the game.

Hi guys, I am also one of the people who's suffering. It goes without saying how much I love chess and yes I understand it's okay to lose sometimes. There's going to be some loses and wins but as I always say I don't mind losing as long as I can move forward but that's just not the case, as soon as am about to get a 600 rating I lose very badly. Firstly am looking for some amazing friends so anyone interested please send me a friend request and lastly if there's anyone willing please give me some advice on my games it would be appreciated. Thanks

When you take a break, you will realize how much you miss the beauty of chess. So step 1- take a break.

Step 2- When you come back, start playing against bots, and start messing around. Forget losing, and have fun!

Step 3- Come back, but whenever you feel frustrated, get away, wash your face a bit, go out, and come back fresh! :-)

Embrace your anger and don't be angry at your anger. Just look at many top players getting extremely angry after a loss. Use it as a fuel to get better.

I feel you. It ist frustrating, but in the end it is a Game. A Game where It is completely normal to lose about at least 45 percent. You get this. I use a similar behaviour as theweirdprofessorpawn Said. If i lose i Take a Break and get my head free. So i can be focused and Play the next game later on without anxiety to lose again, because it is completely new Session. Keep the head Up and don't let the Game so under your skin

Hard to help without knowing more. Also this is just an internet chess site with anonymous account, not the best place to seek mental health advice.

Being good at chess is a skill that can be learned. It has not much to do with being smart or dumb. Keep that in mind when you lose a game.

The solution to your problem is mental tenacity and 'I never give up' attitude. Everyone loses and there's nothing to feel so bad about that, I mean you should just accept it if your opponent completely outplayed you. If you made a blunder in a winning position, don't worry it happens to everyone. Use your losses as a motivation. Everyone started playing chess because it is fun, but don't let results bog you down.

Remember that 'Victory Belongs To The Most Tenacious'

All you have to do is breathe. When you lose you can go to your stats for the game and check what you did wrong. You will feel better. And also watch this video when you lose:
