clearly a passive aggressive shot at the site. what are you trying to gain? are you just suck of chess?
Engine recommendations?

Hey everyone.
I've been playing for a while now on Chess.com but figured it was time to up my gameplay to the next level. Since Chess.com has a pretty liberal engine use policy, I was hoping to get some advice on what engines you guys would recommend, preferable from personal experience.
Please do note for your recommendations that I almost exclusively play 5 min games so I'd rather have a engine that is better at fast calculating rather than one that is simply the best in longer games.
Hardware:
Intel I5-4670k (Overclocked)
GTX 1080
16g ram (DDR3)
Also since I only play 5 minute games, you do you guys feel like I should get a script to integrate my engine moves into the chess.com client or will I be fine just manually moving my pieces having the engine open on a 2nd screen? If scripts, github links would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
What a ridiculous thing to ask.
Are you Russian?

Because you aren't asking a legitimate question and you know it.

I just hire a GM to play my moves. At $100/hour, they can skyrocket your rating faster than an engine since there is no computer lag. They premove everything.
Good advice but I'm afraid that is a bit beyond my budget.
I don't understand why you're all trolling me when I'm just asking a legitimate question?
And I don't understand why there is a question mark behind your statement.

I wasn't trolling you. I told you the truth about why you think so many of your opponents cheat.
You're going to reject this of course, because if you accept that very very few people cheat below 1800 then you also have to accept that almost all of your losses happened because someone played better than you.
And you can't handle that.
Ok i'll entertain you seriously for a moment.
You, just like chess.com, see cheating from too much of a one dimensional perspective. A player that uses an engine and does engine moves from start to finish. Its no different from people in for example CSGO thinking spinbots are the epitome of cheating.
Real cheating only elevates you a certain amount above your actual rating, or skill for that matter. A real cheater will never play to win all his games, instead he looks to play the ratios. This way, cheaters will in fact be nominally distributed among the entire population range, with more deviations the higher you go of course.
A good cheater will simply never be caught by any of Chess.com's systems since he doesn't just follow an engine line to play in the majority of his games. Instead, he will for example launch an engine when faced with a complex tactic and then chooses the most human, winning response it provides. Alternatively a cheater might use a few engine lines after falling behind to equalize or stabilize an perhaps otherwise lost position, too short to trigger any kind of surveillance but enough to boost his winrate over 50%. And that is what real cheating is all about. Whereas every other player will stabilize around a 50% win/loss when they reach their actual skill level, a smart cheater will rise above that with a certain amount of rating depending on how hard he is pushing and how much risk he is willing to take. These cheaters too, will max out at a certain rating above their actual skill level as rising even further would take too much risk. This means that for example a 1500 cheater, ends up stabilized around 1700-2k level depending on how much risk he takes. The ones that push above this skill level are the ones that get caught, as they become too blatant in their actions. The ones that don't, will never get caught and remain playing in the active pool of players, perhaps rising a bit if they improve on their actual game play but nothing dramatic, just like any other player.
This is how actual cheating happens. And because of Chess.com's lackluster anti-cheat, this kind of behavior will remain unnoticed.
