My TT rating dropped about 100 points when I started solving on my iPhone instead of my laptop and iPad. Something about that tiny screen wrecks my performance.

when a person uses an engine, they mess up the site for those who want to play chess and test their skills against real humans. i am amazed at the number of people who are +2000 in online chess and yet have terible ratings w/ tt and and strategy. how does that reconcile with a self image of a thoughtful serious minded person? good grief. of course i'm not saying all who fit the above profile are cheating...it's clear to me that many probably are though.
