stockfish is dumb. like, look at this example.

It says, "Be2 is a mistake

Be3 is best." Well, Be3 puts me still in check and is an illegal move. So, Be2 IS best, and Be3 is a blunder. @Martin_Stahl can you help, or any other admin? Please. And thank you. tongue

What are you talking about Be3 isnt illegal? It is best because it covers the check without losing the g2 pawn

Be3 doesn't attack the queen. It's just a better alternative to Be2 because it blocks the check so that it doesn't lose any material.
