Estimate my rating based on 'play magnus' app

I'm stuck at Magnus 9yrs 7months. I notice it jumps substantially in strength from 6 months. I wonder if that's when his training started to show.

By 9/11 he achieved 2000 rating....don't give up! Let's kill the 9 year old now! After some tactical puzzles, of course!

It costs $2.99 to unlock it though... Is it actually useful? It seems like it just makes the game easier.

just beat Magnus 9yrs 10 months. I exited before I could get the web link. He played the Ben no gambit and I converted the extra pawns into a win. it was a good game. Now I just need 1 more to complete the year. :D

you need to start competing in rated events with as well as you are playing!

I just played Magnus 24 to mess around with the the new Magnometer thingy and I've noticed that he'll play the Berlin as black roughly 50% of the time if you play the corresponding moves. Once you're in the Berlin endgame, you have a realistic chance of drawing. Playing the white side of the Berlin is ridiculously easy. I nearly forced a draw against Magnus 24! I'd suggest trying this out if you're up for a challenge. Imagine being able to say you could draw against Magnus Carlsen lol. Of course the real Magnus would never play the Berlin against anyone other than a super-GM, but it's a nice ego boost.

I like playing Josh Waitzkin on Chessmaster... I can beat up to 9, but 12 is technically a master so he beats me.

But sorry, I digress... 

it is kinda annoying though when playing Magnus super hard and he misses a mate in 1. Rather than finish the game he continues to windmill my pieces. it's like he's taunting me. :\

Worse is when you don't realize you just blundered into a mate in 1 and his piece flies into place in .02 seconds.
