I was wondering if you have ever had a chessgame published by someone else? either online or in a book, or pamphlet or some other media?  I have only ever had a single game published and still feel rather flattered.

Nope, but cool game though.

It was played ages ago.  Queen is the most powerful piece on the chess board but without her friends she is vulnerable. wink.png

Yep, yes she is, and atlas that poor king.

I think it was Pulp that told me that when the game came to Europe it was Queen Isabella that influenced the changing of the Visier (prime minister) into the Queen.  Whether its true or not I cannot say, but its possible for she inspired her soldiers like nothing else could.  I remember a film vaguely where a surgeon who was about to perform an amputation lamented that it takes six men to hold a man down for amputation but only a single woman. wink.png

This one not perfect by any means, but made the city newspaper:

Probably her soldiers would prefer to run away towards the enemy forces...

Very nice game, btw. I doubt the Scotch offers the same possibilities!

And later Boabdil's wife was scolding him badly for the loss. Women!

Chess Life interviewed me when my first novel was published. They included one of my games, one which I lost, but is one of my favorites because of the lesson I learned. That was pretty great.

Ah, it's the Queen that made the queen, in doing so, showing the true powers of the women behind the scenes and pulling all the strings. Bet she did, also funny joke. tongue.png

This OTB tournament game of mine was published in a newspaper with a circulation of about a quarter of a million readers.
