Here I am with more sharp lines of the Giuoco Piano!
This time I will show you how to punish bad moves against the Deutz gambit, also called the Italian gambit or the Koltanowski gambit.
The Deutz appear after this serie of moves:
The best move is Bxd4 giving up the bishop pair:
I wanted to show this variation becouse it can happen but nobody is gonna give up the bishop pair this easy. I will focus on exd4 and Nxd4.
-Exd4: (the people who play the scotch gambit of the Italian may reconginze this as with this move we transpose into the Max Lange attack of the Two Knights defense)
