Fake profile pics.....

Personally I don't post a picture of myself.  I don't want to distract my opponents with how good looking I am.

I defy anyone to say my pic isn't real or throw a frisbee for me.

What difference does it actually make? I mean they don't come to date someone they come to play chess.

A good way to check is if their profile says they're male and their picture is of a woman, that's a good idea. I think that it doesn't matter anyway, we all came here to play chess. Besides there is too many people proclaiming their pic as awesome on chatrooms to put them here.

It's not dangerous to post your real picture, that's just media hyped garbage and is as stupid as saying you shouldn't walk through the street showing your real face in case someone does nasty things to you!

All of my pics are real, if someone posts a pic of a woman then it doesn't really matter because they aren't claiming it to be them (in most cases)?  It's just like posting a picture of something/someone you like.

...and more worryingly; he has been 'cybering' with an ugly baby!
