FAQs?

Hi - New to this site, but very much enjoying myself.  Apologies if I didn't look hard enough, but is there a section on the site for FAQs? 

Specifically, I'd like to know if it is possible to take a position from a completed game and play it again from there.  Further, is it possible to do the same but switch sides?  Or is this an option available only to premium customers?  (Haven't paid yet, but will most likely do so shortly.)

Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I am a diamond member myself and I have this option, although I'm pretty sure it's available to non-premium members as well.

Go to your game (should have a chess.com/echess/game url) and go to the position which you would like to play it out from (using the arrows to go from move to move). From there, click the Analyze button below the arrows. 

To switch board side, click the Moves tab, to the right of the Message tabs which you'll be on automatically. Then click Flip Board on the right side, below Get PGN.

If you are wanting to play a game against another person from a set position, this site doesn't offer that option, other than specific openings. Set up of games with FEN would be a nice feature though for many people, even if the games could only be unrated.

What I'm looking for is what Martin describes (sorry I wasn't clear) - being able to set up a specific position (that my opponent and I had arrived at before), then playing it out again from there.  I like the analyze and flip board features, but that's only for doing it myself, and I was asking about the ability to play the same opponent from a previous position.  I don't care much about whether or not the replay would be rated (just getting into chess for now), just want to know if there was a better option available than what was chosen originally...i.e., trying to learn from my mistakes.

This feature periodically comes up in discussion (e.g. new-game-from-any-given-position-option) but it is not considered a priority.
