Favorite chess move

I just played this move in the last game - and it's my favorite move - when you have significant material advantage but very little time and the other guy is running for time. I call it the chain saw move . If played well, you can use it to even avoid stalemate if there are more pieces on the board. Just make sure you start with a check.

Thats called a steamroller... It's a type of checkmate...

Somehow I like f4. Also moves ending with # are pretty cool.

Reaching across the board and slapping my opponent... that's my favorite move.

That's a quite a tricky move sequence, playing it well is always a challenge.

I like Knight moves

I've seen your "chain saw" called a lot of things: zig-zag, steamroller (already mentioned), stair-step, rolling barrier.

Lawnmower mate is another one

Smothered mate delivered with a knight, with the opposing king bang in the centre of his back row.

It's a good term for an Axe Knight, too.

I like that you drove the king from one side to the other. In that spirit, I will sometimes underpromote so my clerics can do the mating.

Except the ones that are losing moves, right?

Rather than forcing the King to the side of the board, wouldn't it be better to grab his pawn and end the game?
