Why brainwash and mutilate children with your non-sense. Lets teach children they can become minotaurs also.
Why not teach children they can identify as superman also.

There’s a problem with this? Whether or not you believe that transgender women are women is inconsequential in this matter. What is relevant is the fact that transgender women have men’s brains, and statistically, men perform far, far better than women in chess.
Imagine IM Hans Niemann suddenly becoming WGM Hannah Niemann (I believe Hans has the rating to be considered a WGM if he weren’t a man). Things like that are the issue.
FIDE can't/won't do anything about real issues like:
- cheating in chess, like the Niemann/Carlsen scandal bringing the game into disrepute
- women's sexual assault scandals and disparity/inequality while segregating championships
- real sanctions on Russian players/respect to Ukrainian players.
So instead, they go after an easy target. Typical, but disgusting

The article you linked to from the Daily Caller is a hit piece that is full of misinformation and distortions. The author, Matt Walsh, is a conservative commentator who has a history of spreading anti-transgender views. The article falsely claims that Dr. Diane Ehrensaft, a clinical psychologist who specializes in transgender children, is "teaching children that they can become minotaurs." This is simply not true. Dr. Ehrensaft is a respected expert in the field of transgender healthcare, and she has never made any such claim.
The article also links to a story about a young boy who died after jumping off a rooftop. The author claims that this boy was transgender, and that his death was the result of "gender confusion." However, there is no evidence to support this claim. The boy's family has said that he was not transgender, and that his death was a tragic accident.

This post is banned by the chess.com woke garbage site, welcome to the new utopia, don't forget to take your pills, everything is normal.

At first look it seems to be based on concerns about the process for validating the gender identity of tournament participants.

FIDE can't/won't do anything about real issues like:
- cheating in chess, like the Niemann/Carlsen scandal bringing the game into disrepute.
++ Operative word here being scandal. There wasn’t enough evidence against Niemann to be consequential.
- women's sexual assault scandals and disparity/inequality while segregating championships.
++ I’ve heard precious little about evidence of sexual assault scandals in chess but a lot of misandrist “all men perpetuate it so that’s why you don’t hear about it”, and as for segregated men’s and women’s leagues, that’s a thing in every single sport. Men outperform women statistically, so the best way to highlight the best women is to give them their own spotlight.
- real sanctions on Russian players/respect to Ukrainian players.
++ An international organization forcing sanctions upon an entire country for political reasons is nonsense. Russians and Ukrainians both have great history in the chess world, and to sanction Russians further than has already been done would be disgraceful not only to the players but to the sport as a whole.
So instead, they go after an easy target. Typical, but disgusting.
++ This is not an “easy target” but a legitimate concern which is being preemptively dealt with.

Chloe's story is just one story. There are many other transgender people who have had positive experiences with gender-affirming medical care. It is also important to remember that detransition is not always a negative experience. Some people who detransition find that they are happier and healthier living as their assigned gender. Sharing a video about one person’s experience doesn’t say anything about an entire community.

These things happen, and it can be medically diagnosed, it is fairly easy to tell if men have a female brain or female hormone level. You, on the other hand, talk about 99.9% of cases in which someone thinks he has a different gender than he actually has, not confirmed medically at all, in fact, it can be ie psychosis and all sorts of disorders like F20.X or F60.X, sometimes even brain tumors can cause this, and that's why they do brain imaging and all sorts of other tests to diagnose it well.

I am aware. My apologies for indirectly implying that. There’s no correlation between IQ and chess talent, and Hikaru Nakamura famously tested at 101 IQ despite being a top 5 player currently. I was merely stating that currently, men vastly outperform women in chess. Perhaps if there were equal quantities of women and men, this would not be the case, but at current the highest rated WGM is ranked #47 (I believe, please correct me if I am wrong).
