From what I understand Fides online ratings are seperate from Fide OTB ratings they aren't the same. Fide's detection system for cheating is said to the most aggressive and sophisticated on the Internet anyone who tries it will be caught and fast.
When you really think about it would all of the enormous effort money and the time put into policing cheating really be necessary if people just played the game honorably and didn't cheat either on Fide Online Chess.com or in Correspondence Chess? Why do they do it? it's the nature of people today, large inflated egos, the whole entitlement thing that's going on with the younger generation, the culture of Internet Chess itself that has a really dark underbelly that's existed for years, a young and very sophisticated generation obessed with technology and chess engines determined to do whatever they want and give the middle finger to rules period.
hi i have heared that the new fide online arena is realsed which give real fide rating if that is true i it possible that some players cheat to to increse their rating thats true than how they wiil be caught?
