what does it mean by online

Daily.

Also, I'd just like to confirm that Smiles is correct - Standard is now called Rapid.

The chess.com rating has inflated over the past 8 years right?

Perhaps

Am I the only one not to get the term "online" vs "live chess"

Also, whilst I don't think I can comment meaningfully on most of the ratings, the puzzles ratings have almost certainly inflated over the years. I was ~1900 back in ~2015 and I'd be stunned if I was better at puzzles now than I was then. I'm currently ~2300 and could probably increase that if I ever did any.

Dele Alli Mania will certainly help you get there

It was honestly horrible and presumably why they changed it. Rapid is clearly superior to Standard too.

It helps with everything. It helps with life. For sure.

Puzzle ratings are just about meaningless when comparing to playing ratings.

No. Only OTB ratings can reliably be used to determine OTB ratings.

There are general trends, so a 15xx rapid player here is *likely to be ~1300-1400 OTB, there is no one-to-one correlation that states what your rating will be.

Have read a few of the last comments so i might just answer some of the questions so that new ppl visiting here can also get an answer. Standard=rapid. It was called standard before. Same goes for online chess = daily. Ratings are in general more inflated today due to various reasons (not cause of more players - altough there r way more players today) such as people being able to choose what rating lvl theyd like to start at (b4 u could only start at 1200 unless u were titled), over time rapid has been given rapid rating boosts (such as the bullet one in september last year) not to mention the change that happened with rapid in september where everyone having played one game of 10 min blitz would get their blitz converted to rapid. Rapid used to be way harder to get a high rating. This used to be a great (and the first?) comparison site and i loved it back then. Sadly now its a bit outdated. Good new is that smarterchess updates his chart about twice a year

Can Anyone Tell What Is My FIDE Rating Likely To Be If I'm Currently On 1500+ Strong In Rapid (10min)? Thank You

Probably around 1000 fide.

Avatar of chamo2074

nah like 1200 fide

Avatar of DerekDHarvey

My Daily rating is 1641 and my FIDE rating is 1551 but this was after a disastrous tournament so I would say that they are comparable.

fide 1100 , lichess rapid = 2300 , chess.com - 2100

Your rating in chess.com doesn't count, becasue you only played 10 games and still didn't stabilized.

Hey, I would like to join a real-life tournament and I need to choose between 1500 or 1200 fide rating. I was wondering if 1200 fide would be too low for me if I play about 1500 rapid on chess.com.

Thanks!
