Its not bad. The average rating on chess.com is 940. You will be better than 68-70% players on chess.com. Please continue to work on your game. On your question of rating. As per this article, it would be between 1080 to 1180 over the board.

Ok thanks I am improving my rating now

So you say I'll be rated 1080-1180 on fide.

Thanks for the information!

Great stuff!

@SeanBrickey tactics ratings are extremely inflated: I am 1302 in rapid, 1182 in blitz, but my tactics ratings is 1686. Basically tactics ratings don't mean anything.

1598 rapid (I don't take it seriously), 1900 blitz, and 1800 bullet. But my puzzles deviate between 2300->2600, so tactics don't mean anything.

To find the explained variance between two variables one has to square the relational coefficients. That implies that correlations between 0.5 and 0.8 share 0.25 and 0.64 of their variance. The shared explained variance between FIDE rating and Online for instance is 0.45. That means that roughly 45% of the reasons why the FIDE ratings is affected is shared with the reasons why Online changes. It does not help to identify which the reasons are shared between the FIDE rating and Online rating.

It also implies that 55% of the change in FIDE rating is caused by reasons, that are not changing Online ratings. Which reasons are different is not indicated by those numbers. Further investigations are needed to find it out.

My fide is 1700 but my chess.com bullet is 2300 , bullet 2275

How only rapid chess.com online ratings compared to fide ratings ?

spandya_ad1

And compare blitz and rapid within chess.com ?

IAmPomi

Wow. This took a lot of time to calculate, right?

(●'◡'●) Amazing statistic calculations!!

IAmPomi

Yeah. How did you get the data?

My lichess is around 2050-2100, chess.com 1800-1950(but i dont play my main lines on chess.com due to privacy policy). Fide 1660 but places Im getting in recent FIDE tournaments are between 1800 players

Pawn_hurricane_099

Thanks a lot! So my rapid online chess.com rating now (19/10/2020) is 1450....my fide will be in the 1500`s? or will it be in the 1300`s?

tiny_bullet

If I come in then this rule will totally get abolished!
1) My Blitz FIDE rating = 1400+ here, 2300+!!
2) My Rapid Rating = 1300+ here, 2290+!!
3) bullet rating is not in FIDE
4) Standard rating = 1600+ here - I don't know! How can we see our Standard rating here? do you have to count Rapid, Blitz, Bullet or Daily?
5) Tactics Trainer rating= 3100 - your estimation ( 2800) I am only 1600+! lol

So what is my actual strength?

tiny_bullet

Well my standard rating peak was 1900+ but then dropped... just before Corona came

Pawn_hurricane_099

yeah, that is what i want to know.....can you pls tell me two things?

1) where can we see our chess.com standard rating?

2) what will my actual standard rating be?

I think "Standard" was what is known as "Rapid" today.

I am wondering whether these statistics have changed in the last 7 years (first post was 2013).
This website here seems to imply the opposite, that the Chess.com ratings in the moderate strength regime are inflated compared to FIDE:

OH, thanks! So 1509 is my standard rating...OK.
