No, but you could play against him in a takeback mode. That way it will be much more even and you can teach him.

I'm very new on Chess.com. I got here via facebook. My son & young grandson want to play me. Is there a way for me to set up the board without my queen in order to even the odds between them and me. My son is probably capable of playing me without such an advantage; but his son cannot at this time -- and that is the purpose of my question. Thank you.
