Can we just do a daily tournament it would be so much easier because time zones don’t apply

People like me leave the moves until the last minute

But people should resign when they are basically lost (down a queen in simplified position or smt) and they should play their move whenever they’re online not just when there time is at 2 hours

Problem is that some people like me have hundreds and don't want to do the daily games for ages. I even saw someone with 1000.

If it was a very long and drawn out game with 100 or so moves that could be 3 months.

but 3 live games at the same time with a clock which you have to set the time with your opponents one of which could live in the other side of the world, would be way too difficult

It won’t be. We have like 5 of these tournaments running currently. (3/0, Online OTB tourney/ tourney 2, 10/0 tournament, FIFA Wc, etc. ) it’ll work. Worst casinario, again, you and your opponent can js play a bullet game.

I don’t think it will take that long if people resign in a position when they have no realistic chance of saving the game, (extra minor piece in endgame or like an extra queen)
