Finding a good team/group...

I've been playing the public vote chess games available to free members, but I am noticing that pretty often, people just go off voting for moves without any team discussion, voting for whatever move has inertia.  Then the team analyzes, finds a much better move, and then it's a race and landslide of posts trying to get people to stop voting for the bad move.  Already one game went off course, and now it looks like another may follow suit.

It's getting pretty old already :)...I would like to find a team/group that is not going to operate this way...what's the best way to go about finding a good one?

Meanwhile, it would be great if chess.com would consider some mechanism that would encourage team members to interact and read comments before just voting willy-nilly in 30 seconds...

btickler, this seems to be a common problem for many groups. There is also a forum topic just posted about 10 minutes before this one. it is under name "Vote Chess-other team joining with fake accounts and voting up poor moves" I have not played in sufficient games to even know if my thoughts qualify but I know I have voted once for a move I wish I could have taken back or changed. I posted to the other forum and posed some idea's that may help. They were more along the lines of a slightly adjusted vote control. I would have to change it to be more in line with your question here.

btickler, try the group The Killer Derivatives. Every now and then I join one of their games, and it's always the opposite of what you describe.

You might also try Chess Nuts! chess_kebabs tries to establish an agreed-upon move before we vote, although sometimes there are votes before then. When the choice is not clear, people have lots of discussion first.
