I know it seems like an innocent question, but it's very bad form to ask a question about an ongoing game...

For reasons mentioned above, I'm going to pretend this is being asked about a hypothetical situation.
I'm not sure how one would determine that a blunder was made on purpose. I tend to be a pretty inattentive player and I've blundered away pieces in astounding ways that I'm sure had my opponents asking similar questions.
I blunder all the time, many of them because I'm trying to get my kids in pajamas and in bed while playing.
my opponent made a blunder on purpose during the first five moves, actually in his case it was the second move, totally giving away a pawn. What should I make of that? Is he throwing the game?
