By the way, that was my first game against Comp easy and I was surprised. I thought it would blunder its queen in the first 10 moves and well, it blundered pieces but not as horribly as I expected.
Trophies sent. When I created the achievement, I forgot to consider that you could complete it with a pawn promotion. If I had thought of it I probably wouldn't have said promotions don't count, but I didn't, so I'm not going to change the rules now. Anyway, congratulations!
Please note, everyone, that the hard achievement in post #62 is still available! Hurry, and you may be the first one to complete it!

It usually doesn't blunder its queen unprovoked. Typically a good idea is to attack the queen with your minor pieces.
Checkmate while the queen is still on the board is almost or near to impossible as Comp sac it sometimes. Gonna try later. :)
Hard: Deliver checkmate against Computer1-EASY when the computer still has its queen on the board - 5 trophies. The queen has to be the original queen from the starting position, not one that resulted from a pawn promotion.

OMG, you did it! Congratulations! You have 5 trophies coming your way.
In the meantime, I haven't thought of any more achievements (since I thought it would take a while for people to complete the one you just did). But I'll try to come up with some as soon as possible and post them here.
Also, in the future, I ask that people post a URL link to the game when claiming an achievement. That makes it a lot easier for me to verify the game.
I'm only now realising how many times I've played comp1 lol. I don't know if I've actually played 1000 since first commenting but even if I did, I can't prove it.
WOW... I didn't think it was possible for anybody to have played the computer as often I have! I'm REALLY impressed!
Obviously you're in charge of making achievements, but some suggestions:
Meek Performance
Smother mate the computer with a knight. The opponent's king must be completely surrounded by his own pieces.
Poor Sportsmanship
Have 5 queens on the board against the computer.
Poor Technique
Force stalemate on the computer by giving him a turn but no legal moves. Note that having no legal moves yourself does not get this achievement.
Madness or Genius
Checkmate the computer while down at least 8 points of material.
Double Bishop Mate
Checkmate the computer in such a way that every square adjacent to the king is either covered by a bishop or his own piece.
Horrible Blunder
Get fools mated by the computer
Salty Attitude
Beat the computer with the starting move 1: Na3
Carr wreck
Beat the computer as black with the starting moves 1: (anything) h6 2:(anything) a5
It was my plan all along
Checkmate the computer by moving a rook or queen to its back rank while its king is on the back rank.
"Brilliant" combination
Leave your queen en prise against the computer and then have it not take it. Note that taking the queen must be a legal move.
Works every time
Win a game against the computer after playing Bxf7. Playing Bxf7# will also win this achievement.
The amazing race
Win a game after getting your king to the computer's back rank.
King of the hill
Get your king onto the middle four squares while queens are still on the board and then win the game.
Miniature
Beat the computer in 8 moves or less.
The Magician from chess.com
Beat the computer on time (Note that unless every move the computer makes is a premove, it is possible to get this achievement.)
You should challenge people to beat the Comp-4 Impossible 1000 times. Comp-1 is very weak and our game won't improve by playing him. Comp-4 is very strong and our games will improve if we play 1000 games against it.

While it's true, I'd be totally demoralising and no point in it. It's much more feasible for everyone, especially lower rated players, to beat Comp1-Easy, and make the competition interesting. I played Comp4 several times and the only time I was in the way of beating it, it was because I copied moves from a cheater's game and comp playedvthe same game. I think I lost or drew then because I forgot the move order. :P

Those are some great ideas! Some of them remind me of the Playmagnus achievements. I probably won't release any achievements that involve losing or stalemating, since the point of incentivising people to play Computer1-EASY is to help them improve.
Right now, I will officially release
"Meek Performance" for 2 trophies, and
"Double Bishop Mate" for 3 trophies.
Xman's explanations for both are pretty straightforward, so please check his post for details.
Once those two have been completed I will release others, possibly from xman's list and possibly not.
You're right, I meant to include that adjacent squares are covered by bishops or your king. Nevertheless double bishop mate is still possible it's just really hard.
This should be an achievement.
Proper technique
Checkmate the computer with a bishop and knight

And yes I fiddled around at the end because I wanted the proper knight-king-bishop position and I took 5 moves because I am really tired. Look at my other games vs. the computer for some good laughs.
i'd beat that thing 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 games in a row.
So, would you like to sign up? As a titled player you have a pretty good shot at winning. And even if you don't, you will improve through the experience. After all, the best way to get better at chess is to play the game, right?
LOL playing a thing that's 1200 1000 games in a row would only make me worse at chess.
Don't be so sure! All of us started out at 1200, didn't we? And we improved from that point by beating other 1200s. And often times in life I find that it's helpful to go back to your roots, especially when you've already achieved some success, but are starting to feel lost, and you start distancing yourself from your former self. Perhaps this is one of those cases?
