If you want to play live, select play then click the chessboard. This will bring up a list of options including 'live 960'. Not many people play live 960 though so it's quite hard to get a match. If you want to play daily again click play and then the chessboard. Then there is an option you can change from 'standard' to '960'. Or you can join a tournament - it will say 960 next to it.
It is known as both Fisher Random and 960, more commonly 960. Bobby Fisher formalised the rules of the initial setup of the pieces and the result was 960 possible starting positions, hence the name. It is certainly growing in popularity.
