Fix this cheating epidemic

50% of the time I’m playing someone in rapid they’re “losing connection” 20 times mid game because they’re using an engine in another tab or app. It’s so obvious, and when the time gets low it’s like i’m playing a 500 elo player

Most of the time connection issues are usually just connection issues.
That said, the perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount. The vast majority of games and players are clean.

The site closed over 142,000 accounts in April for fair play violations and has a full team of staff working on reports along with some automated systems for detection. They are also constantly working on improving the systems in place and the speed of detection.
