It depends. If you are using a clock, or it's a timed game, then winning on time is ethical. Nothing wrong with it because it's part of the game. But if you are playing a non timed game, then trying to win on time is unethical.
Dirty tricks that I did anonymously on another chess website. It was 10 second, and my oppo was trash, but this is one I still remember so I’ll post it.
