Forced to play tournments

I don't get this.  I will just be playing a game and suddenly the site will force me to play in a tournment.  That is BS.  Why is it doing this?

No, I mean in live chess, blitz.  It will suddenly pop open a new game and time will start counting down and I am like WTF?

Far more likely is you went to click on a game, and then the graph changed and you ended up clicking on the tournament icon instead. Done similar things a couple of times.
