I just got here and I see one discussion of THIS site, cc, and a Moderator closed down the thread, why I am not sure. Are the MODS here always this strict? 

Am I allowed to talk about salvation? NOT religion, but salvation. 

A good organization to be sure, but I speak of a far greater salvation, sir. 

I see we have a cynic. I won't bore you, I'm sure you'll be fine. 

I don't see how a conversation about salvation could NOT become a religious discussion; although the moderators generally try to avoid locking threads pre-emptively, sometimes we will do so.

You can ask such questions without fear of the thread being locked in the official Open Discussion club, which was set up for pretty much that purpose.

Prehaps he might be taking about the art of swindling a chess victory from a lost position?  However, the fact that they were born today is a little troubling.

I really shouldn't have asked for more details, thanks for that image BTW.

mods dislike anything religious or political because those two topics offends majority of people and heats up situations.

The thought is to be happy every day and you have essentially reached salvation. Never mind the "afterlife", which is not on my radar.
