Forums Delete Account

To delete account, login to your account and click a settings button.Select Profile Scroll down until you see Manage Account. Click on Manage account and type in password and text above and click Confirm Identity. Click Close Account, Select something and click Close/Delete My Account and you’ll be done!

That will close your account, not delete it.

Accounts cannot be deleted by users.

Old account GONE

-Chess.com account can be deleted by user. Just go on https://www.chess.com/settings/manage-account and there you will find button to confirm identify which will lead to deletion of account.

-Simple path to there: All settings> profile> manage account (bottom right corners)> confirm identify (button)

-You have to do it on desktop only. It's not available on app
