Hello!

I am preparing against french as white and am planning to play the main line with 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3. Can you please suggest some books, videos and other resources? Also, other suggestions against french are welcome! happy.png Thank you!

Write in Google the first moves, then you'll get lots of it. Or even with chess.com chess database.
I have books in Russian, Deuschte language, which certainly do not bring you.

That will take a lot of preparation. One or two youtube videos will not cover everything.

Russian and written in German books are already old, but the main subject for openings in different subject is always current. The books got my grandson
It was the opening cyklopedie.

I no longer need them, I have almost everything in my head.

The books I have with 3 Nc3 are limited to:

A) 3...Bb4, Neil McDonald, French Winawer (c.2000) and Lev Psakhis, French Defense 3 Nc3 (Winawer) (c.2004) and

B) 3...Nf6, Neil McDonald, French Classical & Rubenstein C10-14 (c.2002)/

Lev Psakhis, French Defense 3 Nd2 (c.2003) also has a lot of positions that transpose with 3 Nc3 positions by moving the N to e4, reachable from either 3rd move position.

Negi at QC (although I have a couple of objections about his choice of lines). Negi's book should be almost useless for anybody rated under 1700 FIDE, though.
