friends list for me isn't working

it only shows me recent players and when I back out once, it tells me I have no friends. I do have friends. I've played with them.
I have the same problem, I added 2 friends recently - I can see them on the website, or the messages both online and on the app, but the app won't list my friends. It keeps on saying I don't have friends. While I already played a game against one of them...
