Hi janeymacfeck. I have Fritz 15, but 16 should be similar. In the database view, at the top of the database there is a line of column headers such as Number, White, Black ELO, Result etc. Right-click on this line and a menu will pop up with options for which columns to display. Click on Show 'Number' and your column should reappear.

I have Fritz 16 which comes with a large database. I think I must have pressed a wrong button because the numbering 1,2,....n by the side of the games has disappeared. Does anyone know how to get the numbering back? The same thing applies to all my Fritz databases which I created, e.g. Openings, Endings, Tactics and so on. It's a pain in the bum.
