Fritz Variations vs. my variations

Right now, after a game, I load the game in Fritz and analyze it myself. I then have Fritz analyze it.

An issue I was having is that Fritz adds its own variations and I often could not distinguish my variations from Fritz's. So I started prefixing mine with 'L:'. However, this is quite tedious.

Does anyone know of any tricks I can do to easily distinguish my variations from Fritz's?

I'm using Fritz 12.

Could you just copy Fritz variations after waiting to your list of variations?

The only way I could see doing this would be to do it variation by variation. This would be as tedious as my current system.

Interesting thing I just discovered. When you have a game loaded, you have the option to delete the Fritz commentary. I tried it, and sure enough, it left my variations and removed Frtiz's. So, it would appear there is already something in place to flag Fritz's variations. But it is not something that is apparent in the notations that I can see.

I paste games into Fritz. I then go through the game and, using the mouse, try out different variations.

I can't find any functionality in Fritz for easily copying its variations. But even if it did, I think I would still end up with my variations mixed with Fritz variations and no clear indications of which is which.
