No matter how I play, I will lose. Any advice for me? I really wonder how did I manage to beat 1100-1200 players to get into 1300 few weeks before

This is commonly known as tilt, and it affects most if not all of us. There are two ways I've dealt with this:

1) Take a break from chess for a couple of days, and then comeback with renewed focus. Since you made it to 1300, your mean strength is probably at least 1150 and you should be able to win back rating pretty quickly.

2) Just keep playing until you get a couple wins in a row. Your confidence will start to come back.

Take a break from it. Blitz is very stressful. Try slower games for a while.

Also, your Chess.com rating isn't everything. In fact it's nothing IRL. One minute I beat a 1450 player, the next I lose to an 1100. It happens, blitz is highly competitive right down to the 800 level. Don't worry about it and don't be like a gambler chasing your losses. That's the worst thing to do.

While having a good day, or a bad day definitely plays into it, I think chess.com uses a variety of factors to determine who you play against, including your current rating, your recent performance, and the ratings of other available players. Call it a matchmaking system. So, for example, if you have a losing streak, the matchmaking system may make an adjustment and match you against opponents of slightly lower skill levels in order to help you regain your confidence and improve your performance (and of course, that artificially inflates your rating). Similarly, if you have a winning streak, the matchmaking system may make an adjustment and match you against opponents of slightly higher skill levels, to challenge you and help you progress. This would explain why you are beating people with higher ratings one day (their ratings may be inflated) while losing against people with lower ratings the next day (their ratings may be deflated). One thing you can do to mitigate this a little is to look at the history of your opponents. If you play someone with a lower rating, but their history shows that they were once more highly rated, that should help put things in perspective. That helped me tremendously. I used to take this way too seriously, and then I noticed that the history of a lot of my opponents gave a truer story on who I was playing. It doesn’t always work, because some people use multiple accounts, so you can’t see their history, but I definitely have relaxed a lot more since I have come to believe that there is a match making system of sorts in play.

Would you like to be on a winning streak more often? Would you like the system to put you on a winning streak more often? Then use the features that chess.com offers. I have found that the more I use the learning modules and the more I review my games, the more often I’m put on winning streaks. If that feels like an artificial process, you are correct. But if you think about it, you will also improve If you do these things and that’s the point. chess.com wants you to improve, and putting you on winning streaks after you review your games and learn different tactics, etc. will encourage you to do more of that, which will naturally make you improve. It’s ironic how a seemingly artificial process can help you improve naturally.

Try being aware of the overall picture for a while. Do you find yourself going on winning streaks and then losing streaks and then winning streaks, etc.? I do. It doesn’t bother me very much anymore, I just try to enjoy learning new moves, reviewing my games, etc. I also notice when I play someone that I’ve played before. Sometimes I beat people who I lost against before. This may be because I’ve been learning new things and they haven’t, because they’ve been too preoccupied with why there are on losing and winning streaks all the time.

Try not to worry about the rating, just enjoy the games and the learning!

Check out my recent games, I’m clearly on a winning streak, but I’m really not playing much better than I’ve been playing. If you look at my games, you’ll see all my mistakes. And yet I’ve risen to the mid 1400s. I’ll probably be on a losing streak tomorrow or the next day, but it is fun to be winning. It does bolster my confidence. I review my games a lot, which probably helps put me on a winning streak.

bruh depressed over chess? youll be alright, at least you probably have a warm place to lay your head, good food to eat, people that care about you, and you are going to get better, keep practicing.

Continuing my comments here, I never thought I’d get over 1500 again in the three minute game, but I just did yesterday and I’m back over 1500 again today. Guess my winning streak is continuing. But I have no illusions of this continuing forever, I’m sure the losing streak is headed my way anytime now.

To the person with the slogan, “slave of Jesus Christ,” I'm curious, could you tell me what it means to you to be a 'slave of Jesus Christ'? What kind of sacrifices do you feel are necessary in order to live out that commitment?

I know a lot of people who live their lives in accordance with their religious beliefs. They make tremendous sacrifices, but I’ve never heard it put quite that way. What does it mean to you to be a 'slave of Jesus Christ' and what sacrifices do you believe a level of that devotion that requires?

I should add that I do realize the phrase "slave of Jesus Christ" is a biblical reference from the New Testament of the Christian Bible.
