Frontier Ratings

Hello everyone this is a simple but interesting question what rating's do you considere to be frontier ratings. By frontier I mean ratings that you cross were people start to considere certain things about yourself. Here's a example by me showing what I think they might be.

1000- When someone crosses this rating there not considered a begginer by play anymor but a player who in general is just weak but there on there way to logical understanding I think.

1400- Considered average is when you hit this mark to me although alot of inaccuracies are played you still got to find them but overalll decent

1700-Above average and you should be able to give a decent game to anyone of expert stretgh

2000- All around good player and rarely make inaccuracies but almost never blunder

2400- strong and can give a good game to anyone IM and GM's alike

Depends on the context. Are you talking about Federation (USCF, ELO etc.) or online?

Typically one associates a certain skill competency based on your class-level (200 point range).

The ratings here are hyper-inflated compared to USCF ratings so IF chessmaster102 is basing his conclusions on the ratings here, I respectfully disagree with his conclusions at least 100%. I doubt if his conclusions are correct even for USCF ratings with the exception of  players rated around 2400.

The only rating class I care about is the one right above me and what I need to work on to beat those bastards  :)

Here are my views

1000- really weak, 1200s beat them in 10 moves.

1400- getting there but not yet

1600- know enough theory to be okay, but not there yet

1800- know alot but just has a flaw in their game

2000- good, but not as strong as masters

2200- good, but gets murdered in 20 moves or less by 2700+ GMs.

2400- good, but not that good

2600+ great!
