frustrated about opponents quitting

Resigning is good etiquette, its what you should do if your dead lost, otherwise you’d just be wasting your opponents time.

Sometimes I want my opponent to play out the game, as it will give me some real practice in endgame scenarios and finding the correct move, or ultimately finding checkmate combinations. However, I am aware most people aren't going to do this as they don't see the point in wasting their time in an obviously losing position

It's good to resign when your position is well and truly hopeless. If I'm dead lost in an endgame I'll at least try to see if my opponent might accidentally stalemate, but that's about it.
You finishing the game always is rude, and wasting your opponents time.
There’s been many times when I straight up lose the opening but i make a comeback and end up winning
Free elo bruh
and a game to flex on ur friends/classmates

My pawn structure, ruined. Massive material deficit. Losing tempos like the Titanic losing buoyancy. My King awaiting the fate of Edward II. 7 minutes left on the clock. Shall I resign? Why, of course not. Fine art cannot be rushed. Plenty of time to Da Vinci another blunder or two.

Er the amount of times I've gotten people to blunder in lost games is impressive

No it's not if you blunder your opponents are just as likely to blunder back
Only acception is maybe the endgames that's q vs k(no pawns) but depends on time but if your in that position you might as well play it out anyways it's fun for some people to convert
