Funny chess fails

I thought I would create a thread to see if anyone is interesting in posting some of the biggest chess fails they've ever seen or experienced.

Here is probably the funniest fail I've ever seen (note, I withhold the name so as not to make fun of anyone - if anyone posts anything please do likewise):

I'm sorry. Black was already down a queen for a rook. Did you have a better move for black? One that might have saved the game?

The only reason that's the only blitz chess game I won is because I ran out of time when up big time on two different situations:

And I would have won this one against the same opponent that got me in the fail you posted. The game before that I was winning at move 21 when I had less than 30 secs and started to blunder after blunder:

That's why I stunk so badly in the immediate rematch. I was rattled from the previous game.

He actually has a higher blitz rating than standard rating. I would CRUSH him in standard play, even though I am not that good at standard play either.

In any case, it was a fail and a funny one. We all have them at one time or another. I just thought I would make a post to try and celebrate them.

haha! it's fun to recall our fails once in a while. there's no point in getting too devastated about it.

Exactly. This one example I cited was probably the biggest fail of all. Can you imagine having this position only to lose on time?

This fail by me is the fail of all fails. I dare someone to top it. I literally froze in the last minute and let time go down. My opponent refused draw after draw even when time remained. I was rattled. Winning, but rattled. And I lost.

I have no idea how to post games but my biggest fails was blundering backrank checkmate to a 700 (im 1900) when I was up 21 points
